Michigan Booster Seat Law Under Michigan Law Children Over Four Do Not Need A Car Seat...so Why Do I Feel Like A Bad Parent If I Don't

Under Michigan Law Children over four do not need a car seat...so why do I feel like a bad parent if I don't - michigan booster seat law

a booster / car seat for my four years? I did not know until today that children need in grade 4 in a car seat ... Of all the ads we see that it seemed it was to be in a safety seat until they are older. At the same time, the idea, not one of my four years I feel like a bad mother. It is simply a good advertisement for the seat and seat makers? Will have, I feel I may have undergone through this brainwashing, but I continue to spend $ 100 or more in a booster / car seat for tomorrow.

Some state laws are outdated. From what I understand that you are the ads showing on the statistics that it is safer to put a child seat or booster seat use is based. I personally believe that prevention is better than cure.

I teach preschool. In the 15 years she had two children (one of the 4 years, 5 years old) from a road accident than seatbelts. It was, at speeds below 30 mph and no one else, even pain. I saw a few children are injured in accidents are not properly restrained in a car seat. My children were in booster seats until the second year. Yes, even if the children they made fun, which is still present. my youngest is wide and tall for his age, but I found a good memory for an impressive number of 25 over 120 pounds! was large enough for him until he is high enough, and you use the car seatbelt combo.

Do not feel bad ... I was a firefighter in Florida a few years ago and parents who have not used the missiles were visiting children in hospitals. 4 a.m. to 5 p.m. years old are for standard seat belts small to properly fit and protect it. I have four children 17,15,13,3 ... All my girls were 6/7...and in booster seats until it's time to all safety-makers also ... and contribute to other ... .

Do what you feel comfortable. My parents have stopped a car seat for me when I about 4, and I'm not permanently damaged, or marked by the absence of a car seat. Bright sitting in the passenger seat, while I could see the sky and the trees, but was before the era of the airbag. While you are a good driver and carefully what is happening around you and make sure it is turned on, preferably the rear seats, you are well and good.

The golden rule is that if the child is less than 4'11'll need at least a booster seat. It always makes me laugh, because I know that even 10 years. underage girls who are shorter than 4'11 and I can not imagine that in a small chair. I even have a friend who is 29 years old, of 4'10! If in a chair?

Seriously, you must use your instincts. If you think your child is young and needs a court, then by all means. It's just common sense, and it is always better to be safe.

After 4 Carseats not necessary to have one ", but a car seat is still needed to make to the age of cartain / / height weight. Check your laws. I know that now a federal law. Yes, preserve, and in any case, you are in a booster seat. It is essential to be secure, but safe to use it properly. Soesn't It helps if you try for the Easy Go ...

That's because you're smart and a good father. By Missouri law, all children under 8 years old and / or under 4 feet 9 inches must be a child safety or booster seats, and have in the backseat. A good choice to stay with the booster seat.

If you think your child still needs a car seats, says one. In other states require that your child has a car seat up to a certain weight or size, or both. I have my child in a booster, and is the first year! I think it is big enough to sit in the seat and adjust the belt properly. Below is a website of the American Society of Pediatrics. They know what they are doing. You should read it. Good luck!

His common sense is far superior to the law. Use a car seat for your child, and I do not feel ashamed. You are doing the right thing!

According to the law is not necessary, but not for you, as a mother, if you think and feel that keeping your child safe. You can not put into prison for a good mother. While the seat is big enough to hold your child and simply, the child away from the bank received in an emergency - by all means put your child in a car seat.

what the law is more realistic than you need a car seat for their children until they are at least twelve, 4'11 ". do at any age younger or smaller or to crawl under my belt in case of accident or strangled her, because they tighten around her neck. So no, you're not brainwashed, you're right to be worried.
